Clef Club March by James Reese Europe for Concert Band
Arranged by Daniel Leavitt
The Clef Club March was composed in 1910 and features a march feel combined with what could be called jazz harmonic progressions. The instrumentation for this arrangement is consistant with descriptions of concerts at Carnegie Hall of the Clef Club Orchestra, directed by James Reese Europe in 1912 and 1915.
